Qualified as a Mediator since 2000, admitted as a Solicitor in 1970
Lawrence spent the greater part of his professional career in Brussels as a partner of Clifford Chance building up it's Company/Commercial and Commercial Property practice.
Having taken early retirement, Lawrence trained as a Mediator with CEDR obtaining accredited mediator status in 2000. For the past 7 years, Lawrence has been an active lead Mediator with Mediation Dorset with whom he has aquired a wide experience of Community and Workplace Mediation handling in excess of 80 disputes. He has also undertaken several Court referred Commercial Mediations for Mediation Somerset.
As a panel member of Solent Mediation Group since it's inception he covers the Dorset area.
He actively promotes the greater use of Mediation in all types of disputes through Public Speaking to such bodies as Citizens Advice Bureaux, the Police and Victim Support groups. He was the Mediator representative for the Yeovil County Court during Mediation Awareness Week in 2005.
